What game to play in a world of deception and trechary?
Lies? What were they to know of lying? It wasn't a game for the strong nor an excuse for the weak, it was the turning point of truth. For nobody could always tell the truth, truth was a force so powerful that it got the best of so many people. Whether turning them good or bad, nobody quite knew. She had been lyed to all her life, she didn't know how to decipher truth from deception, so was it not easier to count everythign as deception? That way you would always be cautious of those you did not know. Caution was what had let her live as long as she had, if she had not been cautious she would have died long ago, perhaps it was best that she died. Some would say that, because she did not speak it meant she was useless, but she was not useless, though others tried to make her believe that, and though she herself was wavering upon the edge of belief, just because she did not portray her emotions did not mean she was weak .. useless. She had been forced to believe that so many times, but she would not anymore .. her nightmares had been enough, now perhaps it was time for a change. But change was another thing she feared, she did not adapt well to change, she never had adapted well to change and she didn't think that would be something she could do.
It was early morning now, she had been walking for what seemed like ages, each step took eternity, all her muscles appeared to have seized within her, her breaths were shallow and pained so it seemed. She could not help it, it hurt to walk and to breath. The white mare had cast an illusion of invisiblility around herself, the mist she walked within made her seem almost invisible, like a moving shadow through the tiny water droplets, her coat becomming damp and yet she did nothing to shake the water from her alabaster pelt. One would not know whether it was tears or water that stained her face, for her eyes sparkled in the dense light, her body illuminated slightly in the eerie moonlight. In fact it was a mixture of the two, tears and mist .. yet not even the trained eye would be able to tell that. She hid her emotions well, she had always been able to do that.
She did not cry out for another, her voice was silent .. it had mostly been for her travels. No scream nor yell nor joyful shout had passed through her vocal cords. They remained silent and would perhaps remain so for eternity. Who knew? For with Uakea ... with the alabaster mare .. none could really tell.

Willows thoughts where thrown into the distance as she watched the clouds shadows dance upon the plains as she stood astride the mountain. The wind slithered through the long foliage like an invisible serpent weaving in and out with little or no effort. Willows chains lash out as the breeze surrounds her. Her hull stood strong, draped in a shimmering coat of bay but yet she was so weak, emotionally more then anything. For once she would like to feel the warmth of another when she lays to rest, to not have to fend for herself, just for a day, just once.
at this thought she dropped her crown and turned her back on civilization only for her orbs to fall on a figure below her. Not being the sort to be 'shy' she started in a two beat toward the other tossing her head and snickering announcing her presence.

Her eyes were closed in a certain anguish, somethign untold that only the one thinking or feeling it could possibly understand. She was not haunted by endless nightmares, one could never decide when or where they were going to turn up. But it wasn't just her sleep, images and illusions haunted her wake, causing her eyes to widen and yet still no scream enveloped from her throat, it was like it had closed over from the lack of words. She barely noticed the scar upon her right shoulder anymore, it did not hinder her performance like it had when it had been inflicted upon her, and it did not constantly hurt her anymore. But pain was nothign unusual to her, she had known it all her life. Every waking hour, every sleeping minute she had pain corsing down upon her body. Her thoughts were blank, not a single thought penetrated her mind, not sorrow nor anger, just a suffocating anguish.
Her eyes opened as she heard anothers footsteps approaching she looked as another mare was approaching her, she closed her eyes and shook her head, no sigh escaped her mouth however. She watched in silence, just continuing her journey. Not stopping for the mare to catch up.

Willows towers flicked back momentairily as rage flowed through her hull, she didnot take to kindly to being ignored, still she followed the fae and the scent of sweat that hung in the air behind her. Willow walked in silence next to the fae without letting any noise slip from her velvets. Though willow was extremly curious she remain mute which for her was unuseral for she was a loud and boysterous being.
The silence started to nor at Willow who's patince was starting to wear thin but still she spoke in a soft and suttle tone, I will not ask of your calling she paused staring at the horizon I am Willow of dark alliance she expected no reply but still she waited.

Uakea continued walking, she knew that the mare walked beside her, however she did not know for how long this company would hold. Her eyes were foccused only on the silver tipped grass beneath her feet, each step was placed carefully, though one could see the carefully concealed hesitation in her step. No words escaped her mouth, one who knew her would not expect them to, her eyes showed some sort of pain, like all the emotion she hid tried to be shown through her eyes, subconsiously crying out for help though refusing to be noticed by those around her. Refusing to be noticed by herself. She was always ignorant of others, she knew that many people did not appreciate being ignored, and her doing exactly that did not help any situation, but she was beyond the point where she could honestly care about the thoughts and feelings of others. Uakea felt fear, many thought because she didn't run when pursuaded with an opponent was because she was not afraid, but it was merely because she did not care what harm was caused to her, why did she need to? If one intended on hurting her then they would do so whether or not she was going to defend herself.
She oculd tell the mare was growing impatient with this constant air of silence. But patience was something that came in great leaps and bounds to Uakea. She had to be patient, for if she was aggressive then she would have no choice but to speak her thoughts. But when her thoughts came it was not just one or two, it was millions and thousands all at once, meaning she often got confused with her own thoughts. If she wanted to smile then she would have at the mare's first comment. I'm not going to ask your name. You wouldn't get an answer if you did. Uakea thought to herself, though no verbal reply was made to the bay mare. The white mustang merely kept on walking. Not slower nor speeding up her pace. Willow, the mare spoke again.. saying her name and alliance. Uakea spared her only a quizzical look before returning her eyes to the moonlit path that she was aimlessly following. Again no words .. no care for life.

Willow had come to the conclusion that the fae was going to remain mute for the time being so Willow took a new out look on the situation. She prnced infront of the mare, well, she spoke in a tone that you might picture a foal to use when he is late returning from a day of adventure. You look like you follow netuel she paused studding her crown no no your a light she proclaimed.
Still dancing on the spot infront of the mare she continued, you look tired she spoke randomliy. now, your calling it would be, once more she paused studding the crown of the mare, Eagle, no thats not it what about Flora, thats it she turned back to the land raising her skull to the sky This is Flora Willow sung out to the night. before returning to the mares side
So Flora, we have worked out your alliance and your calling now where did you come from? Still willow expected no answer but anything she could say to keep he silence at bay was worth saying.

Apparently Willow did not appreciate being ignored, but Uakea could care less, this mare could do nothing to her that had not already been done. She had no idea what pain was, her tiny mind could barely begin to imagine the terrors that haunted this earth, praying upon the unsuspecting and the weak. Who knew the world could be so bitter? Who knew that there were those out there who could be so ignorant and yet figure that they knew all there was to know, they knew the pain of slavery and torture .. no .. she hated those who thought they knew all. But only Uakea knew how bitter her thoughts were, some thought they were unlucky to have ever met her, but they knew nothing .. were nothing. They never had to live with her, she was stuck inside her mind, endless memories haunting both sleep and wake alike. But as she was kept inside her thoughts the mare decided to skip the nasty approach and instead try the pure annoying one. It was as if she was trying to get Uakea annoyed ... if that was the case then her time was being sufficently wasted. Uakea had not spoken in near a year, if this mare thought that she could change that ... if she was important enough...
Her eyes were fixated on the grass beneath her feet as she continued to nowhere, nobody knew where she was going .. they had tried to figure it out. But they wouldn't know because frankly she had never known where it was she was travveling to. It was just aimless wandering that brought her where she was, and though tears often fell from her eyes. It was only when she was alone, always alone. For her emotions were obscured when others were around. Her expression did not change as the mare spoke, first adressing her tired appearance which any amount of trying could not conceal .. then she tried to figure out her name. Uakea could have given her an amused expression if she had wanted to, but she didn't. Her amusement was only for herself. Flora. What kind of name was that? The mare is delirious. She thought to herself, Willow sung out her new name to the world, as if they actually cared.
The path she was treading changed slightly as she turned to the right, ambling away from the mare .. this time she was walking into the moonlight, as if seeking to reach the horizon, perhaps she would find, where the earth meets the sea somethign new, something different. Again she continued to ignore the other mare as she now intended to interrogate Uakea as to where she came from. It seemed this mare, Willow hated the silence .. either that or appreciated the osund of her own voice.
